Zelensky: Russia fired over 40 missiles at Ukrainian cities

Russian forces fired dozens of missiles at several Ukrainian cities, President Volodymyr Zelensky said, as the capital faced a rare daytime air attack.

"Russian terrorists once again massively attacked Ukraine with rockets. Different cities: Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk. More than 40 rockets of different types. Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children's hospital were damaged," he added, quoted by AFP.

The head of Kiev's military administration announced that at least five people were killed in Russian missile strikes aimed at the Ukrainian capital.

"Five people have been reported killed so far. Information is being updated," Sergey Popko said on Telegram. | BGNES
