Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has promulgated a law to mobilize more soldiers in response to Russia's offensive. The law is controversial as it does not set a deadline for demobilizing soldiers, AFP reports.
According to a message posted on the website of the Rada, Ukraine's parliament, the text was presented to the president today, on 16 April.
He signed it immediately afterwards.
This decision lowers the age for conscription into the army from 27 to 25 years. /BGNES
