Yulia Navalnaya: Putin is the leader of a criminal group

"We're not talking about a politician here, we're talking about a bloody monster, Putin is the leader of a criminal group."
This was stated by the wife of the late Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Yulia, before the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

"If you really want to defeat Putin, you have to become innovators. You have to stop being afraid of him, it's impossible to hurt him with another package of sanctions or a resolution."

She emphasized that Putin is not a moral person and should not be perceived differently from a monster.

“It will be no different from what has already been done. He is not a moral and principled person, you cannot perceive him that way. Alexey figured it out a long time ago. We are not talking about politics here, but about a bloody monster, Putin is the leader of a criminal group," noted Yulia Navalnaya.

The mourner also commented on Ukraine and what negotiations with Putin are leading to.

"Two years ago, Putin started a full-scale war against Ukraine, a brutal war, a vile war. And two years later, there is a lot of fatigue, and a lot of blood has been spilled. The war continues despite the sanctions. Voices are beginning to be heard calling for an agreement with Putin. On Putin's orders, Alexei was killed and tortured. Tortured for three years, completely cut off from all contact, calls, and even letters. And then they killed him, and even after that they continued to abuse his body and his mother. And we see that Putin is capable of everything and nothing is negotiated with him," she said.
Vladimir Putin must be held accountable for what he did to my country, Russia, and what he did to neighboring, peaceful Ukraine," she said.

She emphasized that the Russian president must bear responsibility for the death of her husband.

"Alexei will not see what the beautiful Russia of the future will be, but we must see it. I will do everything possible to realize his dream. Evil must retreat and the future will come. /BGNES
