Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant hinted at the imminent launch of an expected ground operation in the Gaza Strip while visiting troops along the border, Anadolu Agency reported.
"Now you see Gaza from afar, soon you will see it from the inside. The order will come," Gallant told the soldiers.
Separately, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with soldiers near Gaza and declared that "we will win with all our might."
Israel bombed Gaza after a surprise attack by Hamas on October 7 and put the entire enclave under blockade, leaving 2.3 million residents with little food, water, fuel and medical supplies./BGNES
