Woody Allen honours launch party for magazine created by sex app

Woody Allen, 88, and his wife Sun-Yi Previn, 54, appeared in front of the audience for the first time in a long time amid scandals surrounding the filmmaker over allegations of harassment against his stepdaughter.

The two came to a party hosted by publicist Caitlin Phillips to celebrate the launch of a literary magazine created by sex dating app Feeld. It is positioning itself as a "dating app for the curious" where people look for partners for sex and sexual experimentation.

According to eyewitnesses, the two didn't stay at the party long and soon left the event. Woody Allen himself denies the allegations of abuse by his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow. His reputation was also negatively affected by the fact that he married Sun-Yi Previn, another adopted daughter of his ex-wife, actress Mia Farrow. Allen himself believes that Dillon was set against him by his ex-wife.

One of his adopted children supported him, others opposed him and urged the film community not to cooperate.

A wave of criticism was sparked by the appearance of Woody Allen and Roman Polanski, also accused of rape, at the Venice Film Festival. | BGNES
