Former heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko has accused Joe Rogan of "repeating Russian propaganda" on his YouTube podcast, the Guardian reports.
Klitschko added that Rogan should invite him on his podcast to discuss the issue "as free people".
"I'm listening to your latest podcast," said Wladimir, whose brother Vitali was also a world boxing champion and is now mayor of Kiev.
"I'm sending you this video to tell you that I disagree with him. You talk about these American weapons being sent to Ukraine, which you think will lead to a third world war. So let me tell you, you are repeating Russian propaganda," the former world champion added.
In Rogan's 3-hour interview with Donald Trump - which is believed to have influenced the recent US election - the president-elect said he would quickly end the war in Ukraine. Reagan endorsed the Republican, who has long been accused of cozying up to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On November 22, Rogan, whose podcast is among the most popular in the world, currently ranking third in the latest Apple Podcasts, criticized Joe Biden's recent decision to allow Ukraine to strike Russian territory with US-supplied missiles.
"How can you do that when you're about to leave (the presidency - ed.)," the host asked.
"Like people don't want you there anymore, maybe that would be a good thing we would want to avoid from a dying former president. This whole thing is crazy," Rogan added of Biden.
Rogan said Russia's invasion of Ukraine was "100 percent wrong," but at the same time lashed out at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, accusing him of trying to start "World War III."
"Putin's Russia is in trouble, so they want to scare you and people like you," Klitschko said in his message to Rogan.
"His war was supposed to last 3 days. It lasted 3 years thanks to the heroism and sacrifice of us Ukrainians. So you are using the only weapon that Putin really intends to use - propaganda, and this weapon really weakens our democracies," the boxer stressed.
"Putin's Russia wants to destroy Ukraine quietly. They want America to stay quiet. Not great, but quiet. A great America is not an America that abandons countries that defend freedom with their lives. If you invite me on your podcast, we could discuss everything as free men," he added. | BGNES
