The Sacramento Kings beat the reigning champion Denver Nuggets 102:98 away in another regular season game of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Kings were again without Alexander Vezenkov, who is recovering from an ankle injury.
However, they managed to turn the tables on the host after trailing by 16 points in the second half. Above all for the winners was De'Aaron Fox with his 30 points - the guard stayed close to a triple-double, adding 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Fox scored ten unanswered points in the final just over two minutes of regular time. Domantas Sabonis had a double-double - 20 points and 13 rebounds, adding 7 assists. Harrison Barnes also finished with 20 points.
For the hosts, Aaron Gordon had a strong game, finishing with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Michael Porter Jr. added 19. Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic didn't have a good day at the office, finishing with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists - he shot just 6-of-17 from the field and 0-of-6 from three-point range. Reggie Jackson added 12 points.
Denver is fourth in the West with a 36-19 record after its third straight loss, while Sacramento remains outside the top six with 31 wins and 23 losses. In their next games after the All-Star break, the Kings host the San Antonio Spurs, while the Nuggets host the Washington Wizards.
