"I expect the new government of Serbia to be elected in 10-15 days, before the May holidays."
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told RTS.
"If we have to meet the Easter holidays and the big parliament with Republika Srpska, a new government would make sense," added Vucic.
He noted that there may be small changes, but he hopes that the deputies will not be upset if they have to work for the May Day holidays.
The head of state also said that he was satisfied with the functioning of the old government, but that there should be some changes.
"I believe there will be new ministers, there will be some who have been there, there will be new allocations, but I believe there will be additional and new energy. I am satisfied with the work of the previous government, many good things were done, but always there is some change and fresh blood is welcome and I believe there will be some," added Vucic.
The Serbian president also emphasized that the main goal of the new government will be the protection of vital national and state interests and that it will remain on the libertarian course.
He stressed that more work needs to be done and that investments in the Expo and other projects will continue.
Vucic indicated that he will visit all the projects, that a lot of work is being done, even at night, in three shifts, for the construction of the railway line to Subotica, and now much more work is also being done to Dimitrovgrad./BGNES
