Bulgarian basketball star Aleksandar Vezenkov scored one basket as his Sacramento Kings beat the Brooklyn Nets 131:118 at home in another regular season game of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
At the Golden 1 Center, Sasha finished with two points on 1/4 shooting from the field, adding five rebounds (one offensive) and one jumper in just over 10 minutes on the floor. Sasha missed both of his shots from the arc.
The Kings finished with over 51 percent shooting from the field and made 25 3-pointers out of 45 attempts. Above all for the Californians was De'Aaron Fox with 29 points and eight assists. Domantas Sabonis came close to a triple-double - 15 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists. Keegan Murray and Malik Monk added 24 and 21 points, respectively, for the win, Harrison Barnes had 14 and Trey Lyles contributed 17 points off the bench.
For the Nets, Mikal Bridges was traditionally above everyone with 22 points, and Cam Thomas and Spencer Dinwiddie added 18 each. Cameron Johnson finished with 15 points and Dorian Finney-Smith scored 13, but their efforts were not enough.
Sacramento is fifth in the West with a 13-8 record, while Brooklyn is ninth in the Eastern Conference with 12 wins and 10 losses. /BGNES
