Max Verstappen won the Austrian Grand Prix sprint after beating Lando Norris at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. The three-time world champion started from pole position and led most of the time, but was seriously pressured by Lando Norris in the McLaren.
Norris even managed to overtake Verstappen on the fifth lap, but the Dutchman regained the lead at the very next corner. Subsequently, fellow McLaren driver Oscar Piastri also overtook Norris to finish second, while Norris had to settle for third.
