American cargo planes have delivered more than 36,000 packages of food to the civilian population of Gaza as part of a joint operation with Jordan, the US military said, AFP reported.
The delivery is part of international efforts to contain the growing humanitarian crisis.
"US Central Command and the Royal Jordanian Air Force conducted a joint humanitarian airlift operation in northern Gaza on March 5, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. local time to provide essential assistance to the civilian population affected by the ongoing conflict," the US military said in a statement. /BGNES
