Russia reported drone attacks on factories in Tatarstan, more than 1,100 km from the Ukraine border, and said the strikes injured people.
"Drone attacks were carried out against factories in Tatarstan in Lelabuga and Nizhnekamsk," Tatar leader Rustam Minikhanov's press service reported on Telegram.
The attacks "did not cause serious damage and did not affect the operation of the factories," the statement said.
Near the city of Elabuga there is a special economic zone, in which there are plants for chemical and engineering production and metal processing.
There is a large oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk.
In the Elabuga special economic zone, two people were injured when two drones hit a house, the local administration reported. /BGNES
