Ukrainian air defense units have destroyed 35 of the 39 Shahed drones that Russia launched overnight, the Kyiv Independent reported.
Russian forces also fired four S-300 surface-to-air cruise missiles. The Air Force did not provide information on the outcome of the missile launch.
The drones were intercepted over Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkassy, Odesa, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.
Mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force participated in repelling the air attacks.
