Ukraine and the European Union are close to finalizing a bilateral security pact, the administration of Volodymyr Zelensky announced.
At the direction of the President of Ukraine, the last round of negotiations on the security agreement with the EU was held with Charles Fries, Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service for peace, security and defence.
The security agreement with the EU will be concluded in implementation of the Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine, which the European Union, together with the G-7 countries, approved in Vilnius on July 12, 2023.
The negotiating teams of Ukraine and the EU finalized the text of the security agreement and agreed to sign it in the near future. I BGNES
