Ukraine and Belgium signed a bilateral security agreement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Belgian Prime Minister Alexandre De Crook signed a bilateral security agreement. Belgium has announced that it will deliver 30 F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by 2028, one of which is expected to be delivered by the end of this year, Ukrinform reported.
"Prime Minister De Kruk and I signed a bilateral agreement on security and long-term cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium," the Ukrainian president wrote on the X social network.
He said the agreement includes Belgium's commitment to deliver 30 F-16 fighter jets, the first of which will arrive this year.
Belgium is participating in a coalition with several other European countries, including the Netherlands and Denmark, in the delivery of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine and has an agreement to train Ukrainian pilots to use these aircraft in the first phase./BGNES
