US presidential candidate Donald Trump plans to support the legalization of marijuana in Florida.
"As a resident of Florida, I will be voting for Amendment #3 in November," he wrote on Truth Social.
According to him, it is necessary to stop the "unnecessary" arrests and imprisonment of adults who use marijuana "in small quantities for personal use".
He called for consideration of the introduction of rules to ensure that adults have access to a safe and verified product.
"We will continue to focus on research to discover the benefits of the medical use of marijuana ... and we will work with Congress to pass legislation, including support for the right of states to enact marijuana laws, like Florida's, in the interest of its citizens," Trump said. | BGNES
