Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump promised to take the United States to "new heights of glory" during his final campaign rally, the New York Post reports.
"My message to Americans tonight is simple: we don't have to live like this. We must not settle for weakness, incompetence, decline and decay," Trump told supporters in Pittsburgh, Pa. in the penultimate speech of his 720-day campaign.
"With your vote tomorrow, we can solve every problem facing our country and lead America, and the world, to new heights of glory. We will help the world - many people think we are isolationists, we are not - but we want the world to appreciate what we are doing. They need to appreciate that we are helping them," the former U.S. president noted.
The 78-year-old Trump promised to "end inflation," quickly "stop the invasion of criminals crossing the border" and "strengthen the military."
"I will restore peace in the world and save the American dream," the 45th US president promises.
"Together, we will begin the four greatest years in our country's history and launch the most extraordinary economic boom the world has ever seen. This will be America's golden age," Trump said.
"If you vote for Kamala Harris, you will have four more years of misery, failure and disaster. Our country may never recover. Vote for me and I will deliver wage increases, sharp income gains and a colossal rush of jobs, wealth and opportunity for Americans of every race, creed, color and creed - every single one of them," the Republican promised.
Trump accused his Democratic opponent of being unfit for the presidency because of her handling of the border crisis, which he called "a terrible betrayal".
"Over the past four years, Kamala has orchestrated the ugliest betrayal any leader in American history has ever inflicted on the nation. She broke her oath of office, liquidated our sovereign borders, and unleashed an army of gangs and criminal migrants from prisons and jails," Trump said.
"The day I take office, the migrant invasion will end and the rebuilding of our country will begin," he added, reaffirming his goal to "liberate" cities overrun by migrant gangs and launch the largest deportation program in U.S. history on his first day in office. | BGNES
