Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young made a basket behind center at the buzzer to give his team a 124-121 win over the Utah Jazz in a regular-season game.
In Salt Lake City, home guard Colin Sexton made a tough three-pointer with four seconds left to tie the game. The Hawks were not eligible for a timeout and with less than three seconds left, it looked like the game would go to overtime. However, Young took the ball and shot just behind the center line, and the ball went straight into the basket to the delight of the visitors.
Young finished with 24 points and 20 assists, his third time this season recording at least 20 points and 20 assists. Six other players scored in double figures. For the Jazz, Lauri Markkanen scored 35 points and Walker Kessler had 21 points and 10 rebounds, but the team has lost 13 of its 15 home games this season.
Atlanta is seventh in the Eastern Conference with a 19-18 record, while Utah is second to last in the West with a 9-26 record.
