Three attackers shot a businessman in Istanbul and fled to Bulgaria

The criminals crossed the Bulgarian border within two and a half hours after the shooting.

Unidentified attackers killed a person in Istanbul and fled to Bulgaria, BGNES reported.

Istanbul police have launched a large-scale investigation into the crime on August 19. The victim is the businessman Abdulkadir Anas - an Arab from Israel. Two other men were wounded in the shooting.

The suspects of the crime are three people, Turkish media reported. They crossed the Bulgarian border within two and a half hours after the shooting. Authorities in Istanbul said the attack was motivated by a dispute over money.

The nature of the criminal act is professional. A silenced gun was used, which was left at the scene of the shooting. The nationalities of those attacked sparked wild speculation in the Turkish press whether Israel might be involved.

"We have nothing to do with politics, we are Israeli Arabs of Palestinian origin," said the father of the murdered man.

Turkey has been a haven for Hamas operatives for years. In December, the head of Israel's Shin Bet security agency said that after the start of the war between Israel and Hamas, his organization was ready to attack Hamas anywhere, including in Turkey. | BGNES
