"The United States will work with both countries (North Macedonia and Greece - ed.) to preserve the benefits of the Prespa Agreement."
This was stated by the press service of the US State Department after the statements of the Republic of North Macedonia's Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski at the NATO summit, in which he only used the word Macedonia.
"The Prespa Agreement is a historic achievement in unlocking security benefits in southern and eastern Europe," said a State Department Office of Public Affairs official.
"The United States supports this vital agreement, reiterates the importance of upholding it, and will work with all parties to preserve its benefits," the foreign ministry added. | BGNES
