The trial against the American journalist Ivan Gershkovich was resumed behind closed doors in a Russian court, reported AFP.
The 32-year-old is facing espionage charges that his employer, the Wall Street Journal, and the White House have described as a hoax.
The second hearing in the case, which started on June 26, began in the morning in the Ural city of Yekaterinburg.
Investigators accuse Gershkovich, who also worked for AFP in Moscow from 2020 to 2022, of gathering classified information for the CIA about one of the country's leading arms manufacturers, tank maker Uralvagonzavod. | BGNES
