After 12 /twelve/ hours of military operation, the Israeli army released several journalists who were detained in the "Al-Shifa" hospital in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Their exact number is not clear. Among the released journalists is the correspondent of "Al Jazeera" Ismail Al-Ghul, reported AFP.
During the invasion of the Israeli soldiers in Al-Shifa hospital, telephones, computers and sound recording equipment were confiscated.
"The occupying forces handcuffed us in Shifa Hospital, blindfolded us, interrogated us and destroyed the contents," said Gul.
The Israeli army announced that "the operation at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza will continue".
"According to information received by the Shin Bet Internal Security Agency and military intelligence, members of Hamas, including field commanders, are hiding in the hospital and using it as an operational zone from which to conduct terrorist operations," Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said. /BGNES
