The FA plans to invite Guardiola as England coach

The Football Association of England (FA) intends to invite the Spaniard Pep Guardiola, who leads Manchester City, to the position of national team coach, reports The Independent.

According to the source, the FA are ready to offer the specialist the position if he leaves City in 2025.

On Tuesday 16 July, Gareth Southgate resigned as national team manager. The 53-year-old specialist has been the team's coach since September 2016. Under his leadership, the British played 102 matches, won 64, drew 20 times and lost 18 matches.
