The European elections have started in France and Germany

On June 9, the elections for the European Parliament (EP) in Germany and France began. A total of over 110 million people will go to the polls in the two largest economies of the EU to elect their representatives in the next EP, reported AFP.

In both countries, a strong performance of far-right parties is expected. Polls put Alternative for Germany in second place, and in France, Marine Le Pen's National Assembly is even expected to deliver a heavy defeat to President Emmanuel Macron's party. | BGNES
