The storm has brought widespread flooding and heavy rain since last week. There have also been deaths in Austria, Poland and Romania.
Czech police spokesman Jakub Winczalek said 8 people were still missing after the deluge.
The fourth victim in the Czech Republic, a woman from the northeastern village of Kobila above Vidnavka, had been missing since the morning of September 15.
"Unfortunately, a 70-year-old woman was found dead," said regional police spokesman Libor Hetman.
CTK news agency reported that the woman was found in a fence near her house, which had been destroyed by the Vidnavka River.
Heavy rains in the Czech Republic on 13 and 14 September raised the river level mainly in the north and northeast in the EU member state with a population of 10.9 million.
The flooding, which toppled houses, disrupted road and rail traffic and caused power outages, has since receded but revealed extensive damage. | BGNES
