The cease-fire between Israel and Hamas begins; hostages will be released at 4 p.m.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, 13 captives will be released from Gaza. Netanyahu admits that Israel has received a list of hostages to be released.

Israel forcefully rejected a Hamas proposal that Israeli forces leave from the Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

According to the report, the Palestinian terrorist group's request came as a last-minute demand in the Qatar-mediated agreement to free 13 captives in exchange for a four-day ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

In a daily briefing on Thursday evening, IDF Spokesperson R.-Adm. Daniel Hagari underlined that no part of the hostage situation is fixed in stone "until it happens...it is subject to changes," he said.

"We have difficult days of grief and happiness ahead of us," he remarked. "We embarked on a long journey and we have targets to achieve - destroy Hamas, bring the hostages home, and bring order to the region and our borders."

The spokesperson emphasised that as part of the deal, Israeli forces will remain inside the Gaza Strip's ceasefire line. He said that the IDF will have freedom of movement in that area for the length of the ceasefire. /BGNES
