Since the Russian invasion in Ukraine the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov might be for the first time in the same room at the OSCE council in Skopje.
The 30th Ministerial Council Meeting of Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe will take place from 30th November through December 1st in Skopje.
The war in Ukraine has brought the world to the brink of nuclear showdown at least a few times, and only common sense and on the sly diplomatic efforts managed to keep it away from nerve-racking meltdown.
Blinken and Lavrov passed each other in March this year in the corridors of the G20 meeting in New Delhi.
