Singer Taylor Swift plans to take a year off after wrapping up her "The Eras Tour."
The pop star has been on the road since March 2023 and will wrap up her epic tour in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8. A new report indicates that Taylor plans to take a longer break so she can focus on relaxing and spending time with her boyfriend Travis Kelsey.
"She's told her team to give her a year," an inside source told Us Weekly.
"Taylor plans to stay home and hibernate for a while. They [Taylor and Travis] want to do 'normal things' as a couple... Taylor is exhausted. She's excited for some relaxation and time off ...," another source told the outlet.
Sources say the singer plans to enjoy a quiet Christmas with her family and won't start thinking about recording another album until 2025. She wants to do another tour, but it won't happen for a while and will likely be on a smaller scale than "The Eras Tour."
The "Anti-Hero" singer will have performed 149 shows on five continents by the time the tour wraps up in Vancouver.
Taylor performed six shows in Toronto before Thanksgiving and admitted to being emotional as the tour came to a close.
"Our six shows in Toronto were so amazing. It was great to play in Canada after so long. As always, the fans in Toronto treated us like it was a hometown show. I couldn't have asked for more love or generosity from the people who came out... The emotions became quite heightened for me and the rest of the team because this became very real for us: Our next city will be the last of 'The Eras Tour' and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far," she wrote in an Instagram post.| BGNES
