Taylor Swift's cat appeared on the cover of Time

Taylor Swift's cat, Benjamin Button, is proving he's suitable for a cover star, People magazine reported.

Swift's cat appeared in one of three cover photographs for her Time Person of the Year photo shoot in 2023. The fluffy pet sits on Taylor's shoulders and stares into the camera with his bright blue eyes. Swift, 33, wore a black bodysuit with long sleeves and black tights.

Swift responded to Time Magazine's announcement of the "Cruel Summer" singer as their 2023 Person of the Year by uploading the cover depicting Benjamin Button on Instagram with the caption: "Time Magazine: / Me: Can bring my cat?"

While Swift was brought to the shoot by Benjamin Button, two other cats were missing: Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. Swift has three cats: Scottish Fold Meredith Grey, whom she adopted in 2011; Olivia Benson, a Scottish Fold who joined the family in 2014; and Benjamin, whom he got in 2019 after meeting the pet on the set of his music video for "ME!"
