Stuttgart achieved a famous victory by beating Juventus 1:0 in the third round of the main phase of the Champions League.

A goal by Deniz Undav was controversially disallowed for a handball on the German international in the 48th minute. In the 86th, Enzo Millot missed a penalty for Stuttgart after Danilo had been sent off. Thiago Motta's Juventus did not last and Millot went from villain to hero in the second minute of stoppage time when he assisted substitute El Bilal Toure for the winner.
In this way, Juve suffered a first defeat in the competition after their two victories at the start, while Stuttgart already have four points. For the Bianconeri, the visit of Lille, who shocked Real Madrid earlier, is coming up, while Stuttgart hosts Atalanta.
The French champions Paris Saint-Germain stumbled at home against PSV Eindhoven. At Parc des Princes, the match ended in a 1:1 draw. AC Milan ended their two-game losing streak by beating Belgian side Club Brugge 3:1 at home in another tie. The Spanish Girona achieved a historic first victory in the Champions League after beating Slovan Bratislava 2:0 at home.
