Mikaela Shiffrin recorded victory #93 in the Alpine Skiing World Cup after triumphing in the slalom in Lienz (Austria). Just 24 hours earlier, she also won a giant slalom at the same resort.
Today, the American finished with a total time of 1:48.75 minutes, giving the best time in both heats. Second was Germany's Lena Dürr, who progressed three places in the second heat to claim her second podium of the year.
Switzerland's Michelle Gisin finished in third place with a total time of 1:51.20 minutes. The top five is also completed by the Swede Anna Sven Larsson and the Slovakian Petra Vlakhova. The American Paula Moltzan, who was second in the first run, missed a gate in the second and did not finish.
In the general classification for the World Cup, Mikaela Shiffrin continues to lead with 900 points, as she increased her lead over the Italian Federica Brignone, who has 637 points and dropped out today. Slovakian Petra Vlahova is third - with 572.
