Shakira, 47, has announced that she will release a new album titled Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don't Cry Anymore). "I created it with all of you and for you - my pack of wolves who have been by my side every step of the way," the singer wrote. According to her, writing the album became a kind of therapy: "Writing each song, I kept coming back to myself. As I sang them, my tears became diamonds and my vulnerability became strength."
Shakira also showed footage from a photo shoot for the album release. She appeared in a corset and leggings as well as other looks selected by stylist Nicola Brew.
Shakira's Spanish-language album features 16 songs, including Acróstico, Out of Your League, Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53, TQG, Te Felicito, Copa Vacía and El Jefe.
The singer recently made a triumphant return to the charts, winning a special MTV VMA award and being honored with a memorial in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia. The star also finally reached a settlement in a tax evasion case in Spain. According to El Periodico, last November Shakira paid $34 million to avoid a potential sentence of eight years in prison. Now the singer does not live in Spain: last summer she announced her separation from Gerard Pique, with whom she was together for many years, and moved to Miami with her sons Sasha and Milan. / BGNES
