The 32-year-old singer Selena Gomez has responded to another criticism about her figure and admitted that she has an intestinal disease. She spoke about it in a TikTok video, which was later removed.
"I don't care if I don't look thin. My body is not like that. End of story. No, I'm not a victim. I'm just a person," she wrote in the text accompanying the video.
In the comments, she explained, "It makes me feel bad, I have SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth syndrome) and it's getting worse." Gomez noted that symptoms of the disease include "bloating, stomach pain and digestive problems."
The reason for a new portion of criticism was the appearance of the actress at the premiere of the film "Emilia Perez" in Los Angeles. Selena came out in a black dress, with which she tried to "cover up her figure", as her detractors claimed. The network also noted that the actress covered her belly with her hand.
Meanwhile, at another recent movie premiere in New York, Selena looked different, and then the network said she noticeably lost weight. Gomez has repeatedly admitted that she suffers from fluctuations in her weight due to the use of lupus medication and has a hard time tolerating negative comments about her figure and appearance. | BGNES
