Sasha Vezenkov played a strong game, but Sacramento blew a 22-point lead against Phoenix

Alexander Vezenkov played one of his strongest games in the NBA. He tied his season-best 14 points for Sacramento in a 117-119 loss at Phoenix.

The Urkhais won the first two legs and pulled away with a 17-point lead at halftime. At one point, their lead even reached 22 points. The hosts eventually turned the game around after taking the final quarter by 13 points.

Alexander Vezenkov this time got more playing time – 17:41 minutes. The 28-year-old Bulgarian national finished with 14 points, two rebounds, one assist and one blocked pass. He made three three-point shots and made two of his attempts.

In doing so, Vezenkov equaled his own record for the most points scored by a Bulgarian in an NBA game, which he set on December 9 in another visit to the Phoenix Suns. Then his team won 114:106.

Grayson Allen scored 29 points for Phoenix. Kevin Durant scored 27, and Devin Booker finished with a double-double - 16 points and 11 rebounds.

With this loss to the Phoenix Suns, the Sacramento Kings' streak of five consecutive away games ended. Now there are two households to come. The first of them is on January 19 (Friday) against the Indiana Pacers at 5:00 Bulgarian time. Four days later, the Kings host the Atlanta Hawks. /BGNES
