Workers at South Korean technology giant Samsung have launched a general strike, the head of the union representing tens of thousands of employees told AFP, after negotiations with management broke down.
"The strike has started from today," said Son Woo-mook, head of Samsung Electronics' national union, adding that a large rally was planned for later in the day. | BGNES
