The Sacramento Kings defeated the Orlando Magic 109:107 on the road in a regular season game of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Kings were again without the Bulgarian national Alexander Vezenkov.
De'Aaron Fox and Keon Ellis converted key free throws late in the game to give the Californians the win. Fox, who finished the game with a game-high 31 points and eight rebounds, first tied the score at 107-107, then scored one more free throw to put Mike Brown's team ahead. Ellis put an end to the dispute with another accurate free throw. He was also very helpful with his 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Domantas Sabonis finished with his 53rd consecutive double-double after 21 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists - the Lithuanian center tied Kevin Love's feat from the 2010-11 season. Keegan Murray scored 22 points.
For Magic, who lost for the first time after five straight wins, Jonathan Isaac led the way with 25 points. Paolo Banchero scored three less, and Franz Wagner and Cole Anthony finished with 18 and 16, respectively, but this did not help them avoid the loss.
Orlando is fifth in the East with a 42-29 record, while Sacramento is seventh in the Western Conference with 41 wins and 29 losses. In their next games, the Kings host the Philadelphia 76ers, while the Magic play the Golden State Warriors at their home arena.
