Sacramento beats Miami in double overtime for fifth straight win

The Sacramento Kings recorded their fifth straight win since the firing of coach Mike Brown, after defeating the Miami Heat 123:118 at home in double overtime.

In a close game in which the two teams exchanged the lead 10 times, and the Heat had a 17-point lead midway through the fourth quarter, the hosts found the strength to tie the game and send the game into overtime, which also did not determine a winner. In the second overtime, the Kings imposed their will and continued with the good results of recent days.

Center Domantas Sabonis had a triple-double with 21 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 blocks, while DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points for the win. For Miami, who are free of suspensions and Jimmy Butler was announced for transfer, Tyler Hero scored 28 points.

After their fifth consecutive victory, Sacramento regained their chances of competing for a play-in tournament, as the team occupies 11th place in the Western Conference with an asset of 18-19. For Miami, this is the third consecutive loss, after which the Heat are in 9th place in the East with a balance of 17-17.
