Ryan Reynolds has confirmed that he will reunite with fellow 'Deadpool & Wolverine' alum Hugh Jackman and director Sean Levy in a new non-Marvel film. In a conversation on the Awards Circuit podcast, Reynolds briefly discussed the project. While he didn't share the premise of the film, he did reveal that he will be working hard on the script for a while.
"I'm going to spend the year writing," Reynolds said. "I'm writing a movie about myself, Hugh and Sean, not Marvel."
Levy has a long-standing relationship with both Reynolds and Jackman. Before " Deadpool & Wolverine," he collaborated with Jackman on the 2011 film " Real Steel." In the years since its release, it has become a fan favorite sci-fi film. Levy and Reynolds worked together on the 2021 film " Free Guy " and the 2022 film " The Adam Project " , leading to Levy helming " Deadpool & Wolverine " . Reynolds is quite attached to the director; he once said that he wouldn't do a third Deadpool movie if Levi didn't direct it. | BGNES
