The Netherlands will decide whether to lift the veto on Bulgaria's accession to Schengen "at some point in the coming days", Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said in Brussels.
"The decision that the Netherlands must take will be based on the reports of the European Commission," the Prime Minister added.
He stated that the issue of Schengen is being discussed with Bulgaria. Rutte emphasized that the decision will be made transparently.
The Prime Minister participated in the EU-Western Balkans summit, and on December 14 and 15 in the regular meeting of the European Council. The Prime Minister Academician Nikolay Denkov is also in Brussels. /BGNES
