Russia has extended the arrest of American journalist Evan Gershkovich by 2 months

A Russian court extended the arrest of American journalist Evan Gershkovich by 2 months, reported AFP.
Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich was detained last March on espionage charges during a reporting trip to the Urals. He denies the allegations. Gershkovich, who continued to report from Russia after the Kremlin launched its massive offensive in Ukraine, became the first Western journalist to be arrested and charged with espionage since the Soviet era. /BGNES
