Rihanna appeared in court to support her friend A$AP Rocky during his assault weapons trial in Los Angeles. The 36-year-old popstar joined Rocky's mother and sister in court.
Prior to the trial, Rocky's lawyer had said Rihanna could attend, but noted the rapper was defensive and didn't want her involved in the trial.
Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is accused of firing a gun at his former friend Terell Ephron (Relli) in November 2021. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to up to 24 years in prison. Rocky has pleaded not guilty and rejected a plea agreement.
