Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has hinted he is closing in on a move away from Old Trafford after declaring he is "ready for a new challenge".
The youngster was not left out of the squad for the Red Devils' 2-1 win over Manchester City at the weekend, and a day later it emerged that the club's management were ready to part ways with the former England international. Now, 27-year-old Rashford has only confirmed that he is likely to leave United. "I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave, there will be no bad feelings. If I know a situation is bad, I don't want to make it worse. I've seen other players leave in the past and I don't want to be like them. When I leave, I will say it in person," Rashford commented on the situation to journalist Henry Winter.
"It's very disappointing to be left out of the derby squad. That's a fact, we won the game, so we move on. I'm disappointed, but I can overcome such difficulties. I'm not going to sit and cry, I'll give my best in the next game," the striker added. | BGNES
