Randle led the New York Knicks to a victory over Minnesota

Julius Randle scored 39 points to lead the New York Knicks to a 112-106 home win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in an NBA regular season game. New addition OJ Anunoby, who just a day earlier came with a transfer from the Toronto Raptors, made his debut for the Knicks. Anunoby had 17 points before leaving the game with foul trouble.

At Madison Square Garden, the hosts pulled away with 22 points against the team with the best balance in the Western Conference, but Minnesota melted it to just 4 points midway through the final quarter. Randle then took matters into his own hands and scored 11 straight points for the Knicks to secure the team's victory. Jaylen Brunson didn't have a shooting day and shot just 5/23 for 16 points, but had 14 assists. For the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards scored 35 points, Karl-Anthony Towns added 29, and center Rudy Gober finished with 10 points and 15 assists.

The New York Knicks sit seventh in the Eastern Conference with 18 wins and 15 losses, while Minnesota continues to lead the West with a 24-8 record.
