Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first-born son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, in 2019, they've largely kept him out of the limelight. But every now and then one of his parents reveals a few details about the 4-year-old and his interests. Last month, Meghan revealed that Archie is a budding photographer when she moderated a Netflix panel featuring photographer Missan Harriman and actor David Oyelowo, Vanity Fair reported.
Although the main topic of discussion was The After, Harriman's new short film, Megan thanked her friend for giving her son some advice about the art form. "The inspiration runs deep," Megan said. "Our 4-year-old ... 4-and-a-half-year-old son — he'll say, 'No, I'm not 4 years old. I am 4 and a half years old. Missan was showing him photography the last time he was with us, and I bought Archie a camera, and he said, 'But it's not a Leica like Missan's,'" Markle said.
The German camera company is known for its labor-intensive manufacturing process and high prices, so it looks like it could be a while before Archie makes this upgrade. "I told him, 'You're not going to get a Leica! Even for Christmas," Meghan shared. "So thank you for the inspiration," she added.
So even if photography gear isn't on the list, Archie's Christmas with his sister Lilibeth will still be full of festivities. In October, Meghan mentioned that she and Harry were developing new holiday traditions with their young family. "We're creating new customs now that our little ones are growing up, and we're enjoying every moment of it," she said. "I like to trim and decorate the Christmas tree together with my children"./BGNES
