The first meeting since the start of the war in Ukraine between US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov could be at the OSCE foreign ministers' meeting to be held in Skopje from November 30 to December 1.
Lavrov initially announced in a press release that he was likely to be part of this ministerial line-up. This came after the lifting of the restrictive measure on Russian flights in the space of North Macedonia, which made Lavrov's trip to Skopje possible.
Blinken immediately responded to this by also confirming that he would be part of the meeting.
Blinken, on 28-29 November, will travel to Brussels, where the NATO foreign affairs meeting is taking place. Very important discussions will take place there on the war in Ukraine. /BGNES
