"War is a deception, and peace is achieved through fraternity," Pope Francis told participants at the World Summit on Human Fraternity in Rome.
He urged the participants of the meeting to lay the foundations of a movement that will say "no" to war and turn to peace.
“War is a deception, war is always a defeat, just as the idea of international security is based on the deterrence of fear. This is another scam. To guarantee lasting peace, we must return to the recognition of common humanity and place fraternity at the center of people's lives," the Pope said. /BGNES
