Police in Munich, Bavaria province, have stepped up security ahead of another edition of Der Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. The champions meet the "yellow and black" at Allianz Arena tonight at 19:30 Bulgarian time.
The reason for the increased police presence around the home of the Bavarian colossus is the threat of a terrorist attack. Earlier this morning, Islamic State-linked media Sarh Al-Khilafah released footage on social media targeting people around Munich's Allianz Arena stadium at the end of the football match.
According to the authorities, there are no signs of panic at the moment.
Bayern representatives have already announced that they are in close contact with the responsible authorities and the police. /BGNES
