A potential area of Russian-US dialogue concerns issues of strategic stability, including space issues.
This was stated by Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, quoted by TASS.
He was commenting on the US decision to submit a resolution to the United Nations (UN) Security Council early next week calling on countries not to deploy nuclear weapons in space.
Washington expects Moscow to vote in favour of that resolution, US officials said.
"Moscow will wait for the resolution to be tabled and will study it further to formulate its position," Peskov explained.
In early March, Russian President Vladimir Putin said the West was spreading "fake news" about the alleged deployment of nuclear weapons in space, adding that Russia had no such plans. /BGNES
