A heavy accident closed largest Bulgarian highway "Trakia" in the direction of Sofia. The accident happened about 7 km away from the capital, reported the BGNES correspondent in the region.
A 29-year-old man died on the spot in the accident. A mother and her two children were traveling in the back seat. They were not injured.
According to initial data, a car with German registration collided with a truck.
Fire trucks are on the scene.
