Nottingham surprisingly beat Manchester United 2-1 at home in a match of the 20th round of the Premier League. The success was the second in a row for Forest, who occupy 15th position in the provisional standings with 20 points. For the Red Devils, the defeat was the ninth in the league and they are in seventh place with 31 points.
All three goals came in the second half of the match. Argentina midfielder Nicolas Dominguez made it 1-0 for Nottingham Forest in the 64th minute after a pass from fellow Argentina international Gonzalo Montiel.
The Red Devils equalized through Marcus Rashford in the 78th minute of the match, but four minutes later, 23-year-old Morgan Gibbs-White put the hosts ahead again.
Nottingham footballers had claims for a penalty in the 50th minute, but it was not awarded, and in the 56th Diogo Dalot hit the post for the visitors from Manchester.
